James is a first-year law student at the American University Washington College of Law with an expected graduation date of May 2022. His interest is in healthcare litigation particularly areas of liability concerning pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. In addition to serving as a junior staffer James is a member of the Law and Government Society. James graduated cum laude from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. James previously was an intern in the DC office of Congresswoman Deb Haaland from New Mexico where his interest in healthcare was sparked.
