Sarah Knarzer is a full-time 1L student at the American University Washington College of Law. She had involved herself in numerous societies on campus including as a writer for the Health Law and Policy Brief’s blog and as a member of the Environmental Law Society, the Women’s Law Society, and the Space Law Society.
Before attending WCL, Ms. Knarzer worked as a legal assistant at Crowgey and Associates, a boutique tax law firm in Richmond, VA. She completed a Bachelor of Science at James Madison University in May, 2016, where she made Deans List and was awarded with the “Outstanding Collaborative Senior Project Presentation Award.” She majored in Intelligence Analysis and minored in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. She was also a member of the Student Government Association, Kappa Alpha Theta, and a staff writer for the Odyssey Online. Sarah studied abroad with the Middle Eastern Immersion Program in the summer of 2014 in Amman, Jordan. Throughout school and post-grad, she often worked several jobs at a time as a live-in nanny, a hostess, and a shift manager for Campus Cookies.
