Andy Flora is a second-year student at the American University Washington College of Law and a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy in 2012. After graduation, he commissioned and served as a submarine officer for six years. In 2018, he entered the Navy’s Law Education Program and transferred into the Navy’s Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. After graduating from law school and passing the bar, Andy will serve as an attorney in the JAG Corps. In the summer of 2019, he interned with the Special Assistant for Legal and Legislative Affairs for the Secretary of the Navy.
